Sysbio

2009-2012

Objective:

The aim of the project is to attract human resources to science by forming an interdisciplinary group in systems biology, in which computer modelers and experimenters will cooperate.

Research direction: development, optimization and application of dynamic, quantitative computer models in yeast and bacterial metabolic engineering, design of biotechnological processes and development of their control. The experiments will not be based on descriptive notions of the metabolism of microorganisms, but on detailed computer models of metabolism.
